Orders, Shipping & Returns

We want you to love your purchase.

We will happily provide a full refund on regular-priced, in-stock merchandise within 14 days of in-store purchase or receipt of your online order. An exchange or store credit can be provided for up to 30 days after your in-store purchase or receipt of your online order. Clearance ("Sale"), made-to-order and special order products are FINAL SALE.

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on Clearance ("Sale"), made-to-order or special order products. These purchases are FINAL SALE. These products will be clearly indicated so that you know prior to making a purchase.

We understand your excitement so we always work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Processing time depends on the type of product you've ordered.

In-Stock: For merchandise we have on hand, your order will processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

Special Order: For merchandise that we have to order in from the manufacturer, the processing time will vary. Processing time is typically 1-2 weeks, but we'll be in touch shortly after you place the order to give you a more precise timeframe.

Made-To-Order: These are customized products that we manufacture or assemble per your request. Processing time will vary depending on the piece and the availability of components. On average, the processing time is 4-6 weeks, but we'll be in touch shortly after you place the order to give you a more precise timeframe.

We use a variety of carriers to provide you with the best experience, but most often we ship with Canada Post or Fedex. Your order will always be shipped with tracking, and the tracking number will be provided to you. For higher value orders, you may be required to pickup the shipment at your local post office with ID.

For purchases of $349 or more (after discounts, taxes not included) your order will ship FREE.

Paid shipping is calculated based on your location and the shipping speed you request (Priority, Xpresspost, etc.) These options are provided to you at checkout so you will always know the shipping price before you purchase. If you are shopping locally, you may consider selecting in-store pick up at one of our locations - this is always free.

Diamonds & Engagement

Most engagement rings are manufactured in 14k gold, but 10k and 18k are available. Whether you choose white, yellow or rose gold depends on personal style and preference. Consider also that white gold will require a bit more maintenance, with regular rhodium plating being required to upkeep it's brilliant white finish. Rose gold is also a bit softer due to the high content of copper in the alloy, and may not be ideal for very delicate styles.

There is no “right” amount to spend on an engagement ring. Your budget should reflect your personal preferences and the qualities that matter most to you—whether that is a particular design, diamond size, or level of diamond quality. Traditional formulas, such as spending two months’ salary, are outdated and should have no bearing on your decision. The best budget is one that feels comfortable to you and allows you to choose a ring you will love without creating unnecessary financial pressure.

The short answer: Accidents happen.

We always recommend informing you insurance provided of any larger jewellery purchase you make. We are always happy to provide Appraisal Certificates for any item you purchase with us. Some insurance policies are able to cover valuable jewellery under existing riders on your home or renters insurance, but some require additional coverage. Talk to your insurance provider about insuring your valuable jewellery purchases.

The most accurate way to determine a finger size is to have it measured in store, or provide a ring that fits the right for us to use as reference. We know it's hard to do either of those things without ruining the surprise so we are always happy to size the ring for you after it is presented.

Jewellery Care

Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, doing dishes, exercising, sleeping, or using household cleaners. Put jewellery on after lotions, perfumes, hairspray and other body-care products, and avoid knocks or pressure that could scratch stones, bend settings or stretch chains.

For most gold and diamond jewellery, use warm water, a small amount of mild dish soap and a soft brush, then rinse carefully and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Gemstones and pearls can require special care, so please ask one of our jewellers before using cleaners, polishing cloths or ultrasonic machines.

Store pieces clean and dry in a jewellery box or soft pouch. Keep items separated so harder stones and metals do not scratch more delicate pieces, fasten chains to help prevent tangling, and keep pearls and porous gemstones away from excessive heat and chemicals.

We recommend having frequently worn jewellery inspected and professionally cleaned about once a year, or sooner if you notice a loose stone, worn prong, damaged clasp or change in fit. Free diamond inspections and ring cleaning are included for life with qualifying regular-price purchases over $499 before taxes.

Birthstone Jewellery

Of course—you make the rules. Choose a gemstone for its colour, or it's connection to someone special, or just because you like it.

You can, but it's best to take extra care. Many varieties of gemstones are softer and more delicate, making them easier to scratch, chip or break if you aren't careful. Some are also porous, meaning they are susceptible to damage for some chemicals so as cleaners or even body care products. With any type of jewellery, it is best to remove it when swimming, doing dishes, or any physical activities that may physically damage it.

Absolutely! Birthstone jewellery feels personal and thoughtful, making it perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, new arrivals and just-because moments.

Definitely! Some jewellery pieces will combine different varieties of gemstones as part of a unique style. We can also help you create custom jewellery where different gemstones each represent important people in your life, such as partners, children, or parents.

Chain Guide

Most chains feature either a round spring ring or an oval-shaped lobster clasp. Spring rings are an inexpensive option that are suitable for lighter weight chains. Heavier chains most often have the more durable lobster clasp. Some chains feature specialty clasps such as box and tongue or barrel clasps, or clasps that are designed to blend in with the links of the chain.

Consider how you would like the chain to fit and where on your chest you would like it to hang. If you have a pendant you would like to wear on the chain, think about where you would like that pendant to sit. The right length is entirely up to your personal preference and style.

A solid chain is made with links that contain metal throughout, giving it greater weight, strength and durability. A hollow chain uses links formed from open tubes of metal, creating a larger look at a more accessible price. Hollow chains can be more vulnerable to denting, stretching and difficult repairs, so they should be worn with extra care.

Link styles where each individual link is a separate solid piece tend to be the most durable, as they evenly distribute tension and have a thicker connection point between the links. Examples of this type of construction include curb, figaro, paperclip and cuban. Chain links that are made up of many smaller links, such as rope or herringbone, can be more delicate and more difficult to repair should a break occur. The strength of a chain is also affected by the thickness of the chain, and whether it is solid or hollow.

The best chain for your pendant depends on the pendant itself. Almost every style of chain can be suitable for showcasing a pendant, but it is important to consider how heavy or large the pendant is and choose a matching chain accordingly. Lighter chains are most common for smaller pendants, so that the chain does not distract from the pendant. Heavier pendants should be worn on thicker chains that can safely support their weight.
